Tarangire National Park is a national park in northern Tanzania, known for its large elephant population and baobab trees. The park covers an area of approximately 2,600 square kilometers (1,000 square miles) and is named after the Tarangire River that runs through it.

In addition to elephants, Tarangire National Park is home to a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, giraffes, and many species of antelopes. The park is also a birdwatcher's paradise, with over 550 bird species recorded.

DAY TRIP TO TARANGIRE PARK

We will pick you up after breakfast in your Hotel in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive. Tanzania’s third-largest National park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them.
