Tarangire National Park Day Trip.

Day 1: Tarangire National Park

Early morning, transfer by road to Tarangire National Park, a park famous for its towering baobab trees, vast elephant herds, and seasonal wildlife migrations. During the dry season, the Tarangire River becomes the only permanent water source, attracting huge numbers of animals such as buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, and predators including lions and leopards. Spend the day on a guided game drive, exploring both river valleys and open plains where wildlife congregates. Tarangire is also renowned as a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 500 species recorded, including colourful lilac-breasted rollers, ostriches, and rare species like the ashy starling. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed near the river before continuing to wetlands and acacia woodlands, where giraffes browse peacefully. In the late afternoon, return to Arusha after experiencing one of Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife parks.
