Day 1: Arusha National Park

National Park is a treasure. Towering Mount Meru dominates the horizon, shifting its character as the light changes through the day. In the morning mist, the mountain appears mysterious and soft, while by midday it stands sharply against clear blue skies. Wildlife sightings, such as giraffes or buffalo in the foreground with the mountain in the background, create powerful compositions that combine scale and drama. In the forested areas, shafts of sunlight break through the canopy, producing atmospheric light perfect for capturing serene and artistic images of nature.

Day 2: Arusha-Tarangire National Park.

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its dense elephant population, majestic baobabs, and rich birdlife. Arrive in time for a mid-morning game drive, photographing elephants grazing under the towering trees and herds of antelope scattered across the savannah. During the afternoon, focus on capturing wildlife behaviors, such as interactions between predators and prey or playful elephants at waterholes. Tarangire’s varied light and shadows make for excellent landscape compositions, emphasizing the vastness of the park. Dinner and overnight are inside the park, with an evening photography around your lodge.

Day 3: Full Day in Tarangire National Park

Begin the day with a morning photography session as the park’s morning mist lifts, revealing hidden herds and intimate animal encounters. Take advantage of natural framing provided by baobabs and acacia trees to create compelling compositions. Day 5: Full Day in Lake Manyara

Today you wake up in Lake Manyara and do a morning photography in the wild. Later in the afternoon drive to Lake Eyasi, home to the Hadzabe and Datoga communities. Midday is perfect for photographing cultural scenes, including traditional hunting, beadwork, and daily life, while maintaining respect and authenticity. Day 11: Full Day in Serengeti

Today is a full day dedicated to capturing the Serengeti’s iconic landscapes and wildlife. After an early breakfast, you’ll head out at sunrise to photograph lions lounging under acacia trees, herds of wildebeest and zebra migrating across the plains, and elephants making their way to water sources, all bathed in the soft morning light. Mid morning, your guide will take you to quieter areas ideal for dramatic compositions and bird photography, while lunch will be a scenic picnic giving you a chance for macro or creative shots. In the afternoon, the focus shifts to action photography, predators on the hunt, playful cubs, or herd interactions with your guide positioning you for the best perspectives without disturbing the animals. As the sun sets, the golden hour casts long shadows across the plains, providing one last opportunity for breathtaking landscape shots before returning to camp with a rich collection of images that make this day a highlight of your photography safari.

Day 12: Farewell to Serengeti & Transfer to Arusha (Departure)

Conclude the safari with a morning photography session of big cats and herbivore herds on the open plains. Later evening, transfer back to Arusha, marking the end of a full spectrum photography adventure.
