8 DAY WILDBEEST MIGRATION CALVES SEASON

This 8-day wildlife immersion is just sufficient to witness the great wildebeest calving migration safari. This tour has been designed specifically to focus on following the migration trail during calving from December to April. The areas to be covered are Lake Ndutu and the Southern and Central areas of Serengeti National Park, where the majority of the wildebeests are usually found. A visit to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater is part of this safari as well.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL ARUSHA

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by one of our friendly, kind, experienced, and very polite driver guides, after a short introduction about your safari, he will transfer you to Arusha for your overnight stays at your reserved hotel or lodge, waiting for your adventures to start on the following day.

DAY 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8 a.m. and take you to a very special national park. Tarangire is famous for its diverse landscape with nine different vegetation zones. The park is particularly known for the abundance of ancient baobab trees (the largest trees on the continent), which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them. The river of the park is full of wildlife, ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes and, of course, elephants. In fact, the park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. The lunch area is fascinating, boasting an observatory with amazing views of the river and wildlife (with good chances of seeing a hunt while having your picnic). In the afternoon, we will do a game drive before continuing to your accommodation.

DAY 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast, depart towards the most famous national park in the World, the Serengeti. The driving itself, although long, is spectacular. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in local language, "endless plains". The park has 6,900 sq miles (18,000 sq km) and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon defying your senses and perception of distances. It is the home to the great migration of 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes. As for the big cats and large predators, it's the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous River Crossings having been filmed in this park.

DAY 4: NGORONGORO NDUTU

After breakfast, you will head towards Ngorongoro Ndutu. It is part of the annual migratory route of hundreds of thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes (and their predators) who come to graze and give birth between December and April, depending on the rains. The forests around Lake Ndutu and the small kopjes also support prolific resident wildlife. From January, it is the beginning of the calving season for wildebeests. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at ndutu.

DAY 5: NDUTU AREA

These 2 more days will be spent at the Ndutu plains within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ndutu plains are where it all happens in the month of January to March as the wildebeest’s Migration give birth to thousands of young calves every day. At Ndutu plains with the green pastures during this time of the year and the rich mineral soils that the herds adore you are sure to see the thousands of wildebeests accompanied by zebras, and gazelles spread along vast areas, as well as have the rare chance to witness some real wildlife action as the predators engage the herds and try to snatch their loved newly born foals.

DAY 6: NGORONGORO CRATER

Today you will leave very early in the morning (after an early breakfast) and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater floor. There, we will have a full-day game drive and a picnic lunch. You will descend more than 2000 feet on steep tracks cut into the crater wall to reach the open plains of the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is undoubtedly the best place in Tanzania to view black rhinos as well as large prides of lions that include the magnificent black-maned males. It is also home to huge herds of wildebeest, zebra and many other plains game. An alkaline lake on the floor of the crater provides a habitat for colorful flamingos and a variety of other water birds. Massive bull elephants feed in the swamps—some adorned with enormous tusks. We will have our picnic lunch at the hippo pool and then go on an afternoon drive to Lake Ndutu for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 7: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

after an early breakfast to your accommodation with a packed lunch box ,our guide will take you to lake Manyara national park for game drive, and you will have night game drive in the park, there are a numbers of fascinating tourist attractions that can be explored within under-grounding water forest of lake Manyara national park, the park is well known for the tree climbing lions, the soda lake that attracts thousands of pink flamingos, after an extensive game drive and lake are alkaline in nature with many number of hippo, their after you will drive back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

DAY 8: KARATU TO ARUSHA TOWN

Early in the morning after an early breakfast to your accommodation, our wildlife guide will drive you direct to maasai village in karamu, where you will able to learn more about this community how live, how produce milk from their cow, how keep their cow, and to know their culture with a best local guide full in English explain you more about their cultures you will enjoy with a fantastic walking in this village until afternoon local food then, our guide will take you direct to Arusha airport for departure.
