6-Day Lodge Adventure through Arusha, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Pick Up from the Airport
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our team. From there, we will transfer you to your hotel, ensuring a smooth and comfortable start to your adventure. If you are interested, we can take an optional detour through Arusha city. This will give you an opportunity to explore the city’s vibrant atmosphere, enjoy some sightseeing, and make any last-minute preparations for your trip. Arusha, often referred to as the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit, offers a rich blend of cultures, bustling markets, and scenic views. In the evening, you will receive a comprehensive briefing about your upcoming tour. Additionally, you have the option to embark on a small hike to Kilima Moto, where you can witness a breathtaking sunset, marking the perfect end to your first day in Tanzania.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
After enjoying a hearty breakfast at 8:30 am, we will depart for Lake Manyara National Park. This park is renowned for its diverse ecosystems, breathtaking views, and the remarkable flamingo population that inhabits the lake. Although tree-climbing lions are one of the park’s most famous attractions, they are a rare sight. During our game drive, you will have the chance to see a variety of bird species, including large flocks of flamingoes. We will also visit the hippo pool for a close-up view of these fascinating creatures. The park is home to an array of wildlife such as buffaloes, wildebeests, warthogs, and monkeys, making for an exciting day of animal sightings. Following the game drive, we will head to our accommodation in Mto wa Mbu, a vibrant village known for its rich cultural diversity and banana plantations.

Day 3: Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park
After a delicious breakfast, we will set off from Mto wa Mbu towards the iconic Serengeti National Park. This journey will take approximately six hours and will include a transit through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. During our drive, we will make a brief stop at Ngorongoro, where you will have the option to visit a traditional Maasai village. This visit offers a unique opportunity to learn about the Maasai’s rich cultural heritage and their traditional way of life. Once we arrive in the Serengeti, we will have lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive in the Seronera area, known for its abundant wildlife. The Serengeti is famous for its vast plains and the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeests and 250,000 zebras. Our game drive will continue into the evening, allowing you to experience a magnificent Serengeti sunset.

Day 4: Seronera, Serengeti National Park
Our day begins with an early breakfast, followed by a morning game drive in the heart of the Serengeti. The early hours are the best time to spot predators as they are still active from their nighttime hunts. You will have the chance to see lions, cheetahs, and perhaps even the elusive leopard. The Serengeti’s diverse ecosystem supports a wide variety of wildlife, and you will witness the intricate balance of nature firsthand. After a fulfilling morning of wildlife viewing, we will return to the camp for lunch. In the afternoon, we will pack up and begin our drive to Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge, located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. This lodge offers stunning views and a unique lodging experience right at the edge of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Arusha Region
We will have an early start with breakfast, setting off at 6:15 am to descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. This early start maximizes our chances of spotting the rare and endangered black rhino, among other wildlife. The Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world, is a vast volcanic caldera teeming with wildlife. Its unique landscape and high concentration of animals make it one of the best places in Tanzania to spot the Big Five. After enjoying a packed lunch within the crater, we will continue our game drive, taking in the stunning scenery and diverse animal life. In the late afternoon, we will ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha, where you will spend your final night at Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa.

On the last day of your journey, we will ensure a smooth and timely transfer to the airport.
