2 Days Experience the Magic Night Safari to Tarangire & Lake Manyara
Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we depart from Arusha towards Lake Manyara National Park, a pristine paradise renowned for its abundant birdlife and famed tree-climbing lions. The park's western border is marked by the dramatic escarpment of the Rift Valley, while to the east lies the shallow, alkaline Lake Manyara. This lake, which fluctuates in size with the seasons, serves as a habitat for thousands of flamingos during the rainy season. The park's vegetation is diverse, ranging from savannah to evergreen forest. Throughout our exploration of the park, we may encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and elephants. Lake Manyara Park is also home to a popular hot spring, where water warmed by volcanic activity flows from the Great Rift Valley. In the late afternoon, our safari guide will escort us to our accommodation for dinner, followed by a thrilling night game drive to witness the nocturnal wildlife.
