Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park

Begin your day with a transfer to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree climbing lions, flamingos, and diverse habitats. On arrival, set out for a guided canoeing excursion on Lake Manyara, where you can quietly paddle along the shoreline for close up views of flamingos, hippos, and other wildlife drawn to the water. This unique perspective from the lake offers a tranquil and intimate way of experiencing the park’s ecosystem. After the canoeing adventure, enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing with a guided game drive. Explore groundwater forests, open plains, and the hippo pool area, spotting elephants, giraffes, baboons, and countless bird species. In the late afternoon, transfer back to Arusha with a day full of both adventure and serenity.
