Day 1: Arrival & Arusha City Exploration.

Your adventure begins in Arusha, the bustling gateway city to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Today, you explore the town with a guided Arusha city tour. This may include a visit to the local Maasai market, the Cultural Heritage Centre with its incredible collection of African art, and the Arusha Declaration Museum for a touch of history. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner while soaking in the serene atmosphere, preparing for the exciting days ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Early this morning, set out by road for your safari in Tarangire National Park, often called Tanzania’s “Land of Giants.” Famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, the park is a stunning introduction to Tanzania’s wilderness. Your guided game drive will take you through rolling savannahs, river valleys, and acacia woodlands, where you may encounter wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, and predators like lions or leopards. Tarangire is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 400 species recorded. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the heart of the park before continuing your exploration.
