Day 1: Journey to Arusha National Park.

After breakfast, transfer to Arusha National Park, a diverse park famous for being home to Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second-highest peak. It is renowned for its varied ecosystems ranging from alpine forests to volcanic craters and soda lakes. Begin with a guided walking safari on the foothills of Mount Meru, encountering giraffes, zebras, and buffalo on foot, an experience only permitted in select parks. Later, enjoy a game drive through montane forests, where black-and-white colobus monkeys swing from the treetops. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed by the Momella Lakes, known for seasonal flocks of flamingos and excellent birdwatching. In the afternoon, visit the Ngurdoto Crater viewpoint, nicknamed the “Little Ngorongoro,” for breathtaking views before returning to Arusha in the evening.
