Day 1: A Trip to Lake Duluti

Depart in the morning for Lake Duluti, a tranquil crater lake located just outside Arusha. This area is famous for its calm, forested surroundings that provide a serene escape from the busy town. On arrival, enjoy a guided canoeing excursion across the emerald-green waters, where you can spot kingfishers, fish eagles, and other bird species that thrive around the lake. For those who prefer to stay on land, a guided nature walk around the rim offers insights into the rich vegetation and smaller wildlife. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed along the lakeshore, shaded by towering trees. The afternoon is spent relaxing by the water, birdwatching, or exploring more of the forest trails before heading back to Arusha.
