Day by Day Safari Itinerary

An Immersive Birding and Walking Safari Experience.

Day 1: Arusha National Park

Upon arrival in Arusha, you will embark on a walking safari in Arusha National Park with a professional guide, exploring forest trails, open plains, and the scenic Momella Lakes. Keep an eye out for Fischer’s turacos, Abyssinian ground hornbills, and black-and-white-casqued hornbills. Optional activities include a boat ride on the lakes to see flamingos and other water birds. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, transfer to Tarangire National Park, a journey of approximately 2–3 hours. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon walking safari led by a guide, focusing on the park’s incredible birdlife, including weavers, hornbills, and raptors. In addition, you can enjoy a traditional game drive to spot elephants, giraffes, and zebras in the vast savannah. Evening at the lodge offers opportunities for stargazing or a relaxing sundowner.

Day 3: Full Day in Tarangire

Day 4: Tarangire National Park-Walking Safari

On the way, experience a night game drive to spot nocturnal animals such as bush babies, porcupines, and owls. Arrive at your lodge near Lake Manyara in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park

Day 7: Lake Natron to Arusha

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the start of the tour will be fully refunded. Cancellations made between 15 and 30 days will incur a 50% charge. For cancellations made within 14 days, no refunds will be issued.
