Day by Day Safari Itinerary

A Photographic Journey Through the Wild.

Day 1: Arusha National Park

Today offers something different, with a guided walking safari inside Arusha National Park for a closer perspective. On foot you’ll be able to capture the smaller details that are often missed on game drives colourful flowers, fascinating insects, and the texture of ancient trees. At the same time, you may encounter giraffes or zebras at eye level, which makes for unique and dramatic angles in your photography. The slower pace allows you to focus on close up compositions and the natural patterns of the park, turning even the smallest subjects into striking images.

Day 2: Arusha to Manyara Ranch Conservancy

Depart for Manyara Ranch Conservancy, a private reserve between Tarangire and Lake Manyara. This area is famous for elephant, giraffe, and antelope sightings, plus Maasai cultural photography. Morning is for landscapes and wildlife, while the evening session focuses on Maasai portraits and wildlife at waterholes. Overnight in Mto Wa Mbu.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

After a sunrise shoot at Manyara Ranch, transfer by road to Tarangire National Park. Spend midday on a game drive, exploring baobab-dotted plains and elephant herds. In the evening, enjoy a sunset photography session inside the park. Overnight in Tarangire.

Day 4: Full Day in Tarangire National Park

Day 5: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Day 6: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Day 7: Serengeti to Ndutu Region.

After a sunrise shoot in Serengeti, transfer by road into the Ndutu area, famous during calving season for wildebeest herds and predator interactions. Enjoy a sunset photography session across the Ndutu plains. Overnight in Ndutu.

Day 8: Full Day in Ndutu

Start with a sunrise shoot over the plains, focusing on wildebeest, zebras, and predators. Spend midday on a game drive, then finish the day with an evening shoot, capturing plains and dramatic skies. Overnight in Ndutu.

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Transfer to Arusha.

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast as the fog lifts. Spend the day photographing wildlife at close range, including lions, hyenas, elephants, and the rare black rhino. The crater floor also offers superb opportunities for bird and landscape photography, with lakes and grasslands spread against the steep crater walls. Afterwards depart to Arusha.

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the start of the tour will be fully refunded. Cancellations made between 15 and 30 days will incur a 50% charge. For cancellations made within 14 days, no refunds will be issued.
