Day by Day Safari Itinerary

A Journey Through Tanzania’s Wild North and Zanzibar Shores.

Day 1: Tarangire National Park

Your journey begins with an early morning departure from Arusha as you travel by road to Tarangire National Park. The drive itself is scenic, offering glimpses of rural life, Maasai villages, and the sweeping landscapes that lead to the park. Once inside, Tarangire reveals itself as a sanctuary of towering baobab trees and vast herds of elephants, which are among the park’s greatest spectacles. On your guided game drive, you will follow the Tarangire River, the park’s lifeline, where animals gather in great numbers, especially in the dry season. Expect to see wildebeest, buffalo, zebras, and giraffes, as well as predators such as lions and leopards waiting patiently for their prey. Bird enthusiasts will also delight in spotting colorful species among the park’s more than 500 bird types. Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, depart the accommodation and enjoy a leisurely transfer by road towards Lake Manyara National Park, passing through beautiful highland scenery and villages along the Great Rift Valley. Lake Manyara, though compact in size, is rich in both landscapes and wildlife. The park’s entrance welcomes you into a lush groundwater forest where baboons and blue monkeys dart among the trees, before opening out into sweeping plains. The shallow alkaline lake, depending on the season, is often carpeted with pink flamingos and other waterbirds, making it a photographer’s paradise. On your guided game drive, you may encounter elephants moving through the forest, hippos wallowing in the waters, and the park’s most iconic residents, the elusive tree climbing lions. Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Tour
