Day by Day Safari Itinerary

A Honeymoon Safari in Style through Northern Circuit Iconic Destinations.

Day 1
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park.
This is where all of your planning becomes a reality: your safari starts now. Many travelers rate Tarangire among their favorite national parks anywhere in Tanzania. Here in Tarangire, you can look for lions, leopards, and cheetahs. But you wonโ€™t have to look hard to see baboons, vervet monkeys, wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes and zebras. And youโ€™ll come across elephants and baobabs everywhere, two giants of the African bush. Also, an enjoyable part of your Tarangire experience will be the rolling savannah scenery, which includes rivers and low hills. And while it can get busy, crowds of cars will not be a problem here. After leaving the park, you'll proceed to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay at Ngare Lodge.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Drinks: Beer, Soda, Water, Wine
  • Accommodation: Ngare Lodge
Day 2
Day 2: Serengeti National Park
You wonโ€™t find many better national parks in Africa than the Serengeti, which has few rivals when it comes to both the numbers and variety of animals. Track down the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra. Enjoy the vast horizons that are perfect for spotting predators (especially lions, leopards, cheetahs and spotted hyenas) and their prey (buffaloes, impalas and kongoni), as well as elephants and giraffes. If youโ€™re really lucky youโ€™ll see a hunt, one of the most exhilarating sights anywhere in the wild. And at every turn, revel in its beauty, with flat-topped acacia trees silhouetted against the setting sun, and so many other classic African safari images.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Drinks: Beer, Soda, Water, Wine
  • Accommodation: Seronera Wildlife Lodge
Day 3
Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Youโ€™ll never forget the time you spend in the Serengeti. Perhaps it will be the sightings of leopard and cheetah as they show their skills as feared hunters of the plains and valleys. Or that unforgettable moment when an elephant family feeds alongside your vehicle, so close you could almost reach out and touch them. Or the first time you hear a lion roar. Then there are the herds of buffalo, zebra or wildebeest so large that they move as one across your horizon, like a river. All of these experiences are possible in the Serengeti, one of the most beautiful parks in Africa. Later evening, youโ€™ll have transfer from Serengeti national park to your next destination the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where youโ€™ll have dinner and spend the overnight at your lodge.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Drinks: Beer, Water, Wine
  • Accommodation: Ngorongoro Simba Lodge
Day 4
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend onto the crater. Ngorongoro is a special place and the first time that you descend onto the crater floor is like no other safari experience in Africa. This is a world unto itself, one where youโ€™ll encounter the craterโ€™s 600-strong population of hyenas, as well as critically endangered black rhinos. Youโ€™ll also find elephants with larger than-average tusks, and more than 50 lions living in the crater. But itโ€™s the sheer beauty of Ngorongoro that will most likely live longest in your memory. From early morning, mist rises from the crater, revealing steep, forested walls, secret waterways where hippos wallow, and a world of abundant wildlife hidden away from the rest of the world. Transfer later on from Ngorongoro to Arusha where your tour ends.
