Central Zone: This region is semi-arid, with a dry season from May to October and a rainy season from November to April.
Southern Zone: This region is mostly arid, with a dry season from May to October and a rainy season from November to April. It has higher temperatures than the Northern Highland Zone, with average temperatures ranging from 25 to 35 degrees Celsius (77 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit).
Overall, the dry season is the best time for wildlife safaris, as it is easier to spot wildlife around water sources. However, the rainy season can be a good time for birdwatching and for experiencing the lush green landscapes of Tanzania
