3 Days safari mikumi national park and udzungwa
Day 1: DAR ES SALAAM TO MIKUMI:
We will start our journey to Mikumi after breakfast and drive to Mikumi National Park which is approximately 5 hour drive from Dar es Salaam. You will enjoy your lunch at Morogoro Town, and thereafter afternoon game drives in Mikumi National Park. Mikumi National Park is Tanzania's fourth largest National Park and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. Within its 3230 sq. km, it's set between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the southeast. Mikumi hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, python zebras, leopards, crocodiles, and Hippos just to mention a few
Dinner and overnight at Tan Swiss Hotel or similar.
Day 2 MIKUMI TO UDZUNGWA:
You will have a morning game drive after breakfast you will find more things to see in the park and in the later afternoon you will enjoy your lunch and then drive to Udzungwa National Park which is approximately two hours drive from Mikumi National Park. On arrival at Udzungwa National Park, you will drive to your hotel nearby Udzungwa Park the preparation for the next day of hiking
dinner and overnight.
Day 3 UDZUNGWA MOUNTAINS TO DAR ES SALAAM
After breakfast you start with a walk to the waterfalls take pictures or hike to Luhombereo the highest peak of the Udzungwa Mountains take pictures and return back to your Hotel to shower and relax. The main features include its mountainous terrains and its biologically diverse forests which host a variety of endemic plants and animal species. There are also at least 10 species of primates including the red Columbus and the sanje crested mangabey monkeys. There are several hiking trails winding through various sections of the park with the most popular being a circuit to the Sanje waterfalls and a hike to Luhombero Peak. And later you will start your safari back to Dar es Salaam via Morogoro town and the drive will drive you to accommodation in Dar es Salaam hotel or Airport
